Landscaping Sales Manager

Salary at 75k plus Commission


We are seeking a goal oriented, personable and accountable individual to join our Landscape Management team. The Landscape Sales/Client Manager is a terrific position serving as the link between client and company for enhancement sales, maintenance sales, and related residential landscape services.

We are a  full-service landscape maintenance and design/build firm. We service some of the most prestigious, high-end residential properties Omaha, Nebraska. Our team of dedicated professionals, work in concert to create outstanding landscaped environments for our clients to enjoy. We are proud of our reputation for uncompromised customer service, high quality workmanship and innovative design.

Position responsibilities include: manage client relationships through proactive communication / responsible for 30-50 residential properties / achieve monthly sales goals for landscape maintenance, enhancements and tree work / perform quality control site audits / work with designer to create & sell landscape enhancements / coordinate with Production Managers to schedule & prioritize work.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Promote Core Values
  • Manage multiple residential properties
  • Manage client relationships
  • Recommend and sell enhancements & tree work
  • Generate leads and sell annual landscape maintenance contracts
  • Estimate landscape maintenance, enhancements and tree work
  • Provide concierge level customer service
  • Design and sell seasonal color and holiday decorating
  • Inspect properties and ensure quality of work


Qualifications and Skills

  • 2 or 4 year degree (preferably in horticulture, landscape management or landscape design)
  • 3 or more years previous experience in sales and client relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (email, phone, in-person)
  • Proven ability to prioritize work, self-schedule, and meet deadlines
  • Capacity to prioritize client matters, make sound decisions and take action
  • Strong attention to details & client preferences
  • Process oriented
  • Goal driven
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and integrate knowledge
  • Desire to soak up knowledge
  • Honest, professional and forthright in communications
  • Ability to identify and name zone 5-7 plants (trees, shrubs, perennials)
  • Knowledge of proper pruning and horticultural practices
  • Proficiency with desktop software, specifically: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and A
