We are currently looking for a Sous Chef at our location in the Fort Mill, SC area!

Title of Position: Sous Chef

Job Description: The sous chef comes with a great deal of responsibility. Reporting directly to the executive chef, the successful sous chef will quickly amass an in-depth familiarity with the kitchen’s operations so that they may fill in for the executive chef when needed and assist them in resolving any problems that may arise on the job. The Sous Chef must possess the ability to quickly and authoritatively delegate job tasks to a large staff. They must also be able to draw upon their considerable experience as a culinary chef who has worked in many different roles and settings in order to effectively coach and mentor junior chefs

  • 2 plus years Sous Chef experience
  • Sous Chef Candidates should have a degree in Hospitality, Business, or Hotel/Restaurant Management or other related field is preferred
  • Sous Chef Candidates should have a Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol Certifications a plus
  • Sous Chef Candidates should have superior business acumen; demonstrated ability to analyze and impact business results at an organization level
  • Sous Chef Candidates should be able to manage/lead others and build a diverse and effective team
  • Local Candidates Preferred

Most recently as an Area Director for Bob Evans Restaurants, he ran restaurants spread across a 3 state territory. Tim has also worked for Walt Disney World as a Chef as well as time spent early in his restaurant career in catering for a country club.

Tim has a strong knowledge of the cities and states in which he recruits for and specializes in building strong relationships. Tim prides himself on being a good listener and getting to know and understand the needs of his clients as well as the candidates.
