Are you a talented and experienced Sous Chef looking for a new opportunity? Our high volume restaurant is currently seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team.
As a Sous Chef, you will play a vital role in assisting the Executive Chef in preparing and presenting food to our guests. You will also supervise our kitchen staff during prep and service hours, ensuring that our food meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Collaboration is key in our kitchen, and you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Executive Chef and our managers to create innovative menu items that enhance the guest experience. We value efficiency and productivity, so you will be responsible for developing processes that optimize kitchen operations and maintain food quality.
Cost management and inventory control are important aspects of this role, as we strive to meet food cost targets and minimize waste. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen operations comply with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
In addition to your culinary skills, we are looking for someone with strong leadership abilities. You will be responsible for managing and developing our kitchen staff, conducting regular training sessions to enhance their skills.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a Sous Chef in a high volume restaurant. You should also have a passion for the culinary arts and be creative in menu creation.
