Title of Position: Sous Chef
Job Description: The Sous Chef is the Executive Chef’s right-hand person, making sure the all-menu items are executed with excellence 100% of the time. For us, our cuisine is a matter of pride; we know that we can’t treat our guests to an amazing experience if we don’t have a talented Sous Chef. The Sous Chef must be culinary driven because here you will work with the freshest ingredients, the cleanest kitchens, top of the line equipment, and standards of operation that are simply unmatched in our industry. As a Sous Chef, you will be the primary “go-to” for the kitchen staff, meaning you must be available to your team while staying on top of the functions of the kitchen. We will count on your talents to motivate your team, create remarkable cuisine and for you to be as committed to excellence as we are.

Qualifications:
· The Sous Chef must always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the operation while maintaining a guest-focused mentality
· Trust, honesty, integrity and a true passion for customer satisfaction are requirements for the Sous Chef
· A solid track record is achieving financial results is a must for the Sous Chef
· The Sous Chef must be passionate about and thrive on the development and mentoring of others
· High volume experience of 3+ years’ experience in kitchen management is a must for this position

Tom Moses has over 35 years of experience in the Food and Beverage industry. He started out as an MIT with Bob Evans in Ohio in 1983 and he went on to relocate over 20 times in his career. Tom has served in many roles in his career as he has worked in Casual, Family Dining and QSR with only with 4 companies. After 14 years with Bob Evans and 14 years with Applebee’s, Tom has spent the last 4 years as Senior Executive with a large Taco Bell and IHOP Franchise group with over 250 locations.
