Title of Position: Sous Chef
Job Description:
As a Sous Chef at our restaurant, you will be responsible for leading a team of talented cooks and for ensuring the highest quality standards in food preparation and presentation. You will collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items and implement seasonal changes. Daily, you will oversee inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment. You will train new staff members and supervise their performance to guarantee consistency in dishes. Your creativity and diligence will play a crucial role in recipe development, plating techniques, and overall kitchen organization. Additionally, you will assist with budgeting and cost control efforts while adhering to health and safety standards. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the positive culture and work environment we have established at our restaurant.

Qualifications:
- The Sous Chef must have 2 years’ experience in an upscale casual or fine dining restaurant
- Strong Organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required for the Sous Chef
- The Sous Chef must have the ability to lead and motivate a team to deliver consistent results.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures is required for the Sous Chef
- The Sous Chef must have the availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
