Job Description
We're in pursuit of a dynamic Spa Manager with a go-getter attitude to spearhead the spa operations of our premier membership club, situated in beautiful Alexandria, VA.
Here's what you'll be up to:
- You'll take the reins in devising, executing, and managing every aspect of our spa and wellness services and programs. This spans from our signature treatments, fitness classes, to healthy dining options. Your goal? Delivering unparalleled guest experiences.
- You'll keep a keen eye on the financial pulse of the spa and wellness department, crafting and executing strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- You'll conduct regular team get-togethers, trainings, and developmental activities for our spa and wellness crew.
- You'll cultivate a vibrant team culture that encourages open conversations, collaboration, and mutual support.
- You'll handle relationships with our external vendors and partners, and also interface with internal departments.

Your credentials should include:
- A minimum of 2 years in a leadership role at a luxury spa and wellness center.
- Previous management experience is crucial, particularly experience leading a team of at least 15. This includes aspects like staff development, performance evaluation, interviewing, hiring, etc.
- Exceptional management and leadership skills, with an innate ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- A solid understanding of business strategy and financial management skills, backed by a proven record of achieving revenue targets.
- A deep understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in spa and wellness.
- Top-notch communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Andy Bhikhari
Andy Bhikhari is a business operations specialist with 10+ years of experience in problem-solving to improve operational efficiency and profitability. Andy is adept at developing standard operating processes, coordinating KPIs and metrics, applying technology and automation, and building meaningful relationships. He’s excited to join his wife (Carolina Bhikhari) and the Gecko team in his new position as Franchise Partner.
Andy graduated from the University of South Florida with his B.S. in Industrial Engineering and is a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Prior to joining Gecko, his most recent role was Manager at KPMG, Advisory Operations. Andy has held roles in various industries which include raw materials, retail, pharmaceutical packaging, medical device technology, and advisory consulting. Now, he’s looking forward to learning about and contributing to the executive recruiting industry.
Andy resides in Orlando, FL with his wife and their two year old son, Benjie. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, attending automotive events, producing music, and is a self-proclaimed donut connoisseur.
