Title of Position – Sushi Sous Chef
Job Description: The career of a Sushi chef is very demanding and exciting. Prior experience in making nigiri and maki, tempura, udon, and Ramen, and in cutting sashimi is preferred. Our Sushi chef is required to have the knowledge and ability to prepare stocks, soups, mother sauces, all varieties of meat including veal, pork, beef, lamb, poultry, game and seafood; complete understanding of kitchen operations; demonstrated organizational skills, budgeting experience, and full understanding of financials. As a Sushi chef with our Restaurant the right candidate may also be involved in assisting with menu planning and development including creativity and experimentation with new trends and menu ideas and recipes for sushi; in ensuring compliance with heath department and weights and measures requirements; and in maintaining a high degree of cleanliness throughout preparation area.

- Must have three to 2-5 years’ experience as a Sushi Chef in a upscale establishment
- Experience in fast-paced restaurant environment is a must
- Possess great knife skill

While attending College of the Ozarks working on her Hospitality Degree she worked overseeing server training for Candlestick Inn in Branson, a premier upscale dining restaurant overlooking downtown Branson. Through a lot of hard work Rhonda made her way into a Service Manager position.
