 Job Description: 
Our Sushi Chef must provide strong leadership, developmental skills, support and motivation to leaders in the kitchen, creating a positive setting encouraging ownership and accountability; recruiting and maintaining a talented team while meeting or exceeding business outcomes. The person in this position will create and develop distinctive dishes which provide our guests with various selections. The Sushi Chef will set trends and enhance unique culinary experiences for style of cuisine. This person will need to be a role model with extraordinary culinary skills and be cuisine savvy.

  • Open availability is a requirement for the Sushi Chef position
  • The Sushi Chef must live by a guest orientated philosophy and show honesty and integrity in all things
  • A strong understanding of restaurant P&L statements is required for the Sushi Chef
  • A passion for mentoring and developing others is a must for the Sushi Chef
  • The Sushi Chef must have high volume restaurant management experience of at least 3 years

Rhonda Gingell started working in the restaurant/hospitality industry while in high school as a waitress with Mazzio’s Pizza. While attending College of the Ozarks working on her Hospitality Degree she worked overseeing server training for Candlestick Inn in Branson, a premier upscale dining restaurant overlooking downtown Branson.
