Vice President of Operations - Restaurant 

We’re looking to hire a seasoned Vice President of Operations who understands the key to running a great restaurant starts with developing teams that are motivated and empowered to provide a consistently excellent experience for guests – not just taking orders. Vice President of Operations Portland, OR 

The Vice President of Operations will be instrumental in the development and execution of strategies to achieve sales growth and profitability through consistent execution in serving high-quality products and providing a differentiated guest service experience. This role is based out of our Support Center in the Portland, OR area. The role will have regular travel in OR, WA and N. CA. 

Job Snapshot:
The Vice President of Operations will be accountable for building, training and sustaining the field leadership team in all areas of daily operations [45 units]. They will lead the restaurants to meet guest satisfaction and financial performance goals while exhibiting the values of the company. Other areas of accountability will be to lead the strategy and design of field training materials, leadership development, and executes the field organization design for growth and new market entry.

Vice President of Operations responsibilities include:

  • Developing District Manager whose primary focus is to develop people
  • Ensuring a deep bench of talent for current and future growth
  • Motivating, inspiring, and challenging the team to achieve at their highest level
  • Creating a culture where people act according to the values of the company
  • Ensuring that restaurants have excellent service, safety, cleanliness, organization and food quality
  • Creating strong financial performance of restaurants
  • Setting clear priorities for teams so they can focus on the most important things
  • Building strong relationships with and positively influencing all departments of the company
  • Strong command of language and general communication skills
  • Strong supervisory and organizational skills
  • Other assorted projects and responsibilities as needs arise.
