Wedding Event Manager

Join our team as a Wedding Event Manager in Gloucester, MA! We're on the hunt for a dedicated pro who goes the extra mile for our guests. This full-time role will have you overseeing events, weddings, planning, and sales at our stunning waterfront venue, working collaboratively to organize both social and corporate gatherings each year.
We're seeking a Wedding Event Manager with the following Experience and Skills:
- Researching markets to spot potential clients
- Meeting with clients for tours and consultations to nail down event specifics like type, budget, and guest count
- Crafting detailed event proposals, including timelines, venues, suppliers, legalities, staff, and budgets
- Establishing and managing event budgets
- Creating contracts, ensuring timely client signatures and deposits
- Ensuring all safety, legal, and insurance requirements are met
- Coordinating with venue staff, caterers, contractors, and equipment providers
- Securing speakers or special guests
- Planning event layouts and entertainment schedules
- Organizing staffing needs pre, during, and post-event
- Collaborating with clients and designers on event themes
- Managing suppliers, addressing client concerns, and troubleshooting on event day for a seamless experience
- Supervising event breakdown and venue cleanup
- Conducting post-event evaluations, data analysis, and report creation for stakeholders
