Wholesale Seafood Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Wholesale Seafood Floor Manager to oversee our seafood wholesale distribution operations and retail online shipping orders. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing employees on the floor, ensuring all orders are packed accurately and on time on our trucks, and ensuring that our inventory meets the demands by working with our sales and purchasing team. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Duties
- Develop and maintain relationships with all team members
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, and work with our team on pricing strategies and product selection.
- Collaborate with management to align wholesale operations and online retail sales.
- Implement budgeting strategies to control expenses and maximize profitability.
- Train and manage team members involved in wholesale operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Utilize phone etiquette skills for effective communication with suppliers and internal teams.
- Monitor market trends to identify new opportunities for product offerings and improvements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in management of seafood wholesale operations is necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and suppliers.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial analysis related to inventory management.
- Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Experience in stock management is a plus.

: From $25-$30 per hour or $75,000.00 per year and up based on experience
